Wii is much better, but you can’t play it on the train…. it all depends on how you intend to use the console…

Nintendo Wii deadset. Lots of good games

Most of the games on the ds are crap.

The ds may be 50% cheaper but the wii is still cheap compared to other consoles like the ps3 and 360

They are more complimentary than opposite. The Wii is your home console system, sit’s next to the telly permanently plugged in. The DS is your portable system - take it with you on the bus, plane, train, play it in bed, etc.

The Wii is more expensive, but will have better graphics, bigger screen (your telly).

depends when you would be playing it. If your the sorta person who likes to take games about with you then the DS is best, but overall I’d say the Wii is great

It depends on whether you want a portable gaming system or not. If you want one to keep you occupied while traveling or have a break at school or work, then the DS is for you.

If not, then the Wii is definitely better. You and up to three friends can play together, and it is a lot of fun.

Nitendo, yea a popular company, but why you go to them? Try playstation 3, maybe he is better then that Nintendo. I heard about that nintendo, beleive me, that is not good, staff. Just try PS3. But answer is Nintendo Wii is beter than Nintendo Ds Lite.

The wii kicks ass mannnn!! Wii is better I actually have both and nothingbeats bowlin on wii, I barely turn my ds on, if I’m out I’ll play my boyfriend (mines now) psp!

They both do the same thing, but the Lite looks a lot better, you can chose from a variety of colours and it is much brighter! However it costs about £10-20 more depending on where you buy it from!

I can’t play a wii on public transport so I like nintendo ds, I take it down the coast or on the road for long drives.
I find some games hard because slight coordination and balance issue so I don’t play racing car type games
        Games I like
nintendog (my first and still love to play it)
        Yoshies island
        chess master
        honeycomb beat
        cross words
narina 1 and 2 (2 was a little on the easy side but it a good feeling that I could finish the game)

I do enjoy the sports interactive games on the wii I brough my mum big beach sports so I can enjoy playing it with her

        This is, complicated.
        I have both.

        Portable: NDS
        Console: Wii

This makes it difficult to decide.

        Games
Wii: LoZ: Twilight Princess, Super Smash Bros., No more heroes, Soul Calibre Legends, Okami, Trauma Centre, Gamecube library, Virtual Console, Mario Kart Wii, Super Mario Galaxy
NDS: Hotel Dusk, Ace Attorney, Trauma Centre, Mario Kart, New Super Mario Bros., Castlevania, Applo Justice, Game boy advanced library

        Internet:
NDS: Opera internet browser, Nintendo WiFi online play
Wii: Internet Channel, Wii24connect, Nintendo WiFi online

        Graphics
        Wii: Wins
        NDS: 2 screens, touch screen

        Innovation:
Wii: Motion sensing, 3 or 6 axis controll
        NDS: Touch screen, microphone

        Price
        Wii: More expensive
        NDS: Cheaper

        Better buy
If you want portable or console, your choice.

        I have a wii & a ds

I bought them for two different reasons,
the wii I bought to have the wii fit but have found a host of great games as well, my initial layout (wii, wii sports & fit) was about £160

the games that I have since bought are:-Mario Galaxy, Mario Olympics, Big Brain Academy, Pop, Mari Kart (lurve the steering wheel), Smash Bros Brawl, wii play (gotta love that free remote), Guitar Heros: Legends of Rock, Sports Island & Game Party.

I have also downloaded pop, alex the kid and mario bros 3 from the virtual console on the wii!!

the ds I bought for the cooking guide but again, have bought loads of other games as well, my initial layout for this was about £90 including 2 games that I didnt want. I took the games to my local Game and sold them to them for £10.80!!

the other games that I have I bought for this so far are Brain Training & More Brain Training

both of them are really great in their own ways. Personally, I would recommend buying the wii first and then the ds if you decide that you still want one.

        Hope this helps,

        Tizme xx

Another piece of useless information is, which ever one you decide upon, make sure that you keep the scratch card thingy that is inside the box (as long as you are in europe). Then join club nintendo and register your products there. You will then earn star points that you can either collect and “buy” things off the site or use them to swap for wii points.
